Sauktown Church Event Update

What a wonderful day this past Sunday.  Many guests, children, those who were able to return after illnesses' and those who just decided to come back.  AMEN is in my heart.

This Sunday, November16, my message title is "Disciples of Christ."   

I have asked before, Again, I ask you all, could this be a new direction for your spiritual journey?"  Is God tugging you to read a little each day?  Is God prompting you to talk to Him a little more each day?  Are you listening?  How are we spending our days during the week?  Are we just Christians on Sunday morning? Are you all reading your Bible?  I chatted this past week with probably at least 5-7 people wanting to do better in reading the Holy Bible.  I like to call it "God's loving instructions."
 

Just this week, I have instructed others to go to scripture to find answers to issues going on in families lives.

So what are you doing with your Bible? I have been asking this question for months haven't I?  Are you focused yet?  Are you praying for the Holy Spirit to guide you as you read the word of God?  Are you moving it around your library?  Are you dusting it when company is coming over?  Are you thumbing through the pages trying to find the scripture about your day?

Remember, start reading in Genesis and keep going.  Just sayin'

EVENTS

Tuesday Evening Bible Study continues studying the Book of Psalm.  Come join us won't you?  The study starts at 6:00 CT.

It's been on my heart to form a group to go visit the shut in's, to take communion to those who were not in church, to start the process of getting some of us our of our "comfort" zone.  You can and you will be a blessing I promise.  See me for details. OK, so it's been on my heart.  Anyone else feeling this need or calling?  Call me.  Pastor Greg

Waiting for you all to be reaching out to establish "groups" to go out to our hospitalized, our nursing home residents, out shut in's for our community ministry.  

Please be in prayer for our community, our neighbors, our sick, our country, the unrest arond the world.  Amen
